The deposit of £200 is to be paid on collection and will be returned on return off of the equipment.
Features:
- STIHL starter handle is an exclusive feature of STIHL. It is a starting grip with a built-in shock absorber that helps reduce the effort when pulling on the starter cord. The starter grip noticeably reduces the sudden peak forces (compression) normally felt during cranking. The forces which occur at the grip after the first compression stroke are smoothed out.
- Long-life Air Filtration System: The long-life air filtration system helps reduce the need for frequent filter cleanings.
- STIHL Auger Brake: This braking system is designed to stop the bit from digging when the auger hits a hard underground impediment. In addition, the STIHL drill brake acts to stop backwards rotation. A jammed drill bit can simply be unscrewed from the borehole.
- Hip Pad: The hip pad is positioned close to the body or leg of the operator during use for more comfortable operation.
- Vibration-Dampening System: This advanced vibration-dampening frame increases user comfort and helps reduce operator fatigue, especially when used over long periods of time.

On collection a deposit would be needed and payment for hire fee. You would also need to bring your drivers license, a letter no longer than 30 days old for additional proof of address and card details to be held on account. Once all equipment has been returned(in appliance with Blackburn Tool Hire T&C’s i.e undamged and working) your deposit will be refunded to you and you can request for all your details to be deleted or we can keep them on file for any future hiring so we are all set up and wont have to go through the setup process again DO NOT TAKE CARD PAYMENTS as deposit can take 3-5 business work days to be returned. Therefore cash or online bank transfer only. All our equipment are checked and have been serviced regularly, PAT tested or have a LOLER.
